Looking into possibilities in MI- past activist in CA including off shore drilling (stopped)- formed tenants alliance (1000+ became involved)- petition drive to halt transportation of hazardous materials through (Bay area)populated areas (successful ballot vote gov. reversed) - Alar alert(childrens health). Movement to stop closure of outpatient mental health comm. centers(Monterey Co.- successful. But I found MI- especially Grand Rapids -to be closed off as far as really putting walk behind talk and closed off to information. I've found using my daughters computer has really helped. Gave up for awhile but would like to get involved more.
